Ok Ok Ok… I get this question ALL THE TIME.
“I just want to lose this”
“How can lose my gut?”
“I want to tone my belly. My arms are fine just my stomach.”
These always get me. I wish it was that simple that you can just tell your trainer that you want to take fat from this area and put it in another area. Fat loss happens all over your body. Working out the stomach and constantly doing crunches is not what is going to help you “lose belly fat.”
Try doing nice big movements:
These big exercises burn more calories. Burning calories is necessary in order to lose fat. So instead of doing a situp, go deadlift!
